Ideathon is an intensive 24-hour workshop that offers the students of TBU in Zlín opportunities to solve the urgent challenges of our time in a short time. The workshop participants work in teams and, thanks to mutual cooperation, propose solutions to given challenges using design thinking methods and innovative procedures.
We want to connect students across the faculties and fields of our university together with local institutions. Thanks to modern methods, they can help solve the challenges of the city and surroundings in which they live and study. We would like to achieve long-term cooperation between students and institutions and connect them with real practice.
The first year of Ideathon is open to institutions and organizations of the Zlín region from the non-commercial sector. Participation in the Ideathon is free for all applicants, but it is necessary to take into account the time required for processing the assignment, presenting the selected topics to the participants and participating in the jury during the event.
